Speaking of accuracy, a genuine tourbillon movement usually keeps perfect time. Its specially architected mechanism prevents variations in time as gravity can disorient tiny and delicate parts in the movement, causing accuracy fluctuations depending on the position in which the watch is kept. Not many people realize that if they were to turn their watch around every which way, the watch may actually be thrown off by seconds or even minutes in a day, depending on the movement. With the tourbillon movement you don’t have to worry about this and your watch will be right on the second no matter what, because the tourbillon is a complication that is designed to provide greater precision in timekeeping by protecting those parts.

BUT, due to the intensive labor and extreme difficulty of manufacturing these kinds of complicated watches, most people think that tourbillon watches are luxury items that could cost $3,000 – $10,000 each, and therefore are too expensive to own.

Is that true? Hmmm … maybe not, with Praesto’s DLC Tourbillon!

Praesto’s DLC Tourbillon is powered by the well-known Seagull Cal. ST8000 tourbillon movement, which is one of the reliable, Chinese-made, decorated movements with blue screws.  With the top-notch movement inside the scratch-resistant DLC-coated case and the uniquely designed dial and hands (superluminous), we now make it both fascinating and affordable for you! At least it won’t cost an arm and a leg.

Last but not the least, the watch is protected by 200-meter water resistance and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings underneath, which enhance clarity of the watch. So, for you aficionados out there, here we present our first tourbillon model – the Praesto DLC Tourbillon!

1. We have to revise the city names on the inner ring. Some city names are wrong on the ring.

2. We have to revise the crown. It needs to be just a bit bigger. Currently it’s 8 mm, but original design was expected to be 9mm. We’re pretty picky about this small detail.

3. The packaging box has been delayed. We’re still waiting for it to come out right.
